Elena Sinel is an award-winning social entrepreneur and founder of Teens in AI, a global initiative launched at the UN’s AI for Good Global Summit in 2018. She is a recognised leader in AI literacy and ethics, advocating for diverse youth participation in technology while advising FTSE 100 companies and governments on inclusive, future-focused AI education. Her career began in international development, where she spent over a decade leading projects on poverty reduction and sustainable livelihoods across Central Asia, the Balkans, and Ethiopia with organisations including the British Council, UNDP, and the World Bank. Elena is a Microsoft Regional Director and has contributed to shaping UK education policy through the All-Party Parliamentary Group on AI. Her cross-sector leadership continues to drive innovation, equity, and collaboration at the intersection of technology and social impact.
